FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Holdrege Area Public Library Joins the 16th Annual Neighborhood Forest Project to Give Free Trees to Kids for Earth Day
The Holdrege Area Public Library is excited to participate in the 16th Annual Neighborhood Forest free tree program, bringing the gift of trees to children in celebration of Earth Day 2025! This initiative provides free trees to children, inspiring environmental awareness and encouraging families to plant trees in their communities. Families interested in receiving a free tree (6-12 inches in size) must register online by March 15, 2025. Registration is required to receive a free tree. Families can sign up through the library’s Facebook Event or website. Trees will be delivered to the library and available for pickup during Earth Week (April 22-30). The library will notify registered participants on or around Earth Day (April 22nd) with details about pickup. Join us in making a difference by planting trees and celebrating Earth Day together!
